Is the listed HD-SDI system cable is just a regular cable or if there is something special about it that binds it travel up and down with the post better?
The cable is thinner then a normal HD-SDI cable and if you order together with the rig we configure it so that it is attached to the coiled power cable. This way it automatically extends with the post.
Does my Raptor already include 2 top mount options – so i can snap a tripod plate or slide on as with standard Arri dovetail method?
No. The standard setup is a Arri Adapter setup. We offer as a option to get the clamp adapter instead. Keep in mind that if you order the clamp that you mite need a camera plate. The clamp is designed to work with narrow OCconor size plates (and slightly larger ones). Exact details will follow. We also will be offering a special priced cameras plate for those who need one.
I would also like to order dual V-mount battery stage, but there is nowhere on your order form to do so, what is the cost of the dual battery plate?
What is the capacity range of your standard springs and the capacity range of your heavy-duty springs?
NAB Show 2013
ActionProducts is not attending the NAB Show in Las Vegas this year (2013). However our reseller and service partner for Germany “Gecko-Cam)” will be showing our accessory program and some new products on their booth at the Bavarian Pavilion. Booth C8839.
What will the shipping costs be?
The shipping costs vary from country to to country. We will post some available examples tomorrow (27 March). We will be offering regular Swiss Post (TNT – best price) and FedEx priority shipping.
The Standard 8pin connector – What specifications does it have?
The 8pin connector is a original LEMO FGG.1B.308 connector.
The connections are as following:
2x + 12V Camera power (unregulated battery power)
2x ground
2x camera information
1x +12V accessory power (unregulated battery power)
1x reserved
A 12/24V power setup is optional available.
Will there be any options available?
Yes. We will be sending a email with a list of all available options out this Thursday (28 March).
The options will include Monitors, Battery Mounts, Cabling etc.
System Adapter for RED’s +1 Module …
The +1 Module Adapter is now online for preorder. Shipment will start right after Easter holidays.
The picture shows the final products un-adnodized. It is now in process to get its black (perl mate) anodization.
Specifications:
Adapter Plate for the RED Epic +1 Module. It allows you to safely mount our module system using the +1 module from RED.
- Offers four standard placed M4 treads so you can also use it fort other third party products that need these for mounting.
- The mini TopPlate allows you to mount the adapter using the top treads of the +1 module. No manipulation of the +1 module is required.
- Covers all cables coming from the AP “Apollo” TopPlate
- Made of 7075 Airspace Aluminum
Raptor Sled
The pictures of the stage show the function of the 2 step stage. Basically the stage it self allows you to mount your own mounting plate. On the one example you see a ARRI dowetail (AP Arri Adapter Plate – optional*) mounted directly to the stage. This allows you to move the camera from you rig to the tripod very fast.
On the other example you see the clamp adapter (optional*) mounted. this gives you the same ability to mount a regular dovetail like on other stabilizing systems.
